Cook Smart
Scan, track, cook.
Cook Smart keeps track of what is actually in your kitchen and sorts it by how long you have left — expired, expiring soon, this week, fresh. It matches recipes against what you already have, prioritising whatever is about to go, swaps a planned meal for another when the week changes, and builds shopping lists ordered the way you walk a shop. It scans what you buy so the pantry stays current without data entry.

Questions
How does Cook Smart decide what is about to expire?
Every item sits in one of four bands, counted in days until its expiry date: Expired once the date has passed, Expiring soon at three days or fewer, This week at four to seven, and Fresh beyond that. Something that expires later today already counts as expiring soon.
How does it choose recipes?
It matches recipes against what is already in your pantry, and puts first the ones that use whatever is closest to expiring.
Can I change the meal plan once the week has started?
Yes. A planned meal can be swapped for another when the week changes.
How is the shopping list ordered?
By aisle, so the list runs in the order you walk the shop rather than the order you added things.
Do I have to type in everything I buy?
No. You scan what you buy and confirm the product, so the pantry stays current without data entry.
